What is Microsoft 365 E7 ?

2. Microsoft 365 Copilot (AI Assistant)
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Outlook, Teams
- Copilot Chat and Agent Builder tools
Before E7, Copilot cost $30/user/month as a separate add‑on. In E7, it’s included by default.
3. Agent 365 (AI Agent Control Panel)
Agent 365 is a control plane for AI agents. It lets IT and security teams:
- Discover and inventory AI agents
- Apply identity, security, and compliance policies
- Govern both Microsoft‑built and third‑party agents
Important: Agent 365 governs agents — it doesn’t provide AI compute or model usage (those costs are separate)
4. Microsoft Entra Suite.
E7 includes the entire Entra Suite, not just Entra ID P2. This adds:
- Zero Trust Network Access (Entra Private Access)
- Internet Access controls
- Identity governance and lifecycle workflows
- Advanced conditional access for users and AI agents
These features were previously separate paid add‑ons.
