Intune Discovered App – Software Inventory Report<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

  1. Intune discovered app act as a Software Inventory for your tenant.\u00a0<\/li>
  2. It provide the list of detected apps on the Intune enrolled devices.\u00a0<\/li>
  3. Discovered app is separate report from the app installation.<\/li>
  4. For the personal device, never collect the application information that are unmanaged.<\/li>
  5. For the corporate device, it will collect the app information data whether it’s a managed or unmanaged app.<\/li>
  6. Software inventory data will refresh every 7 days. from the time of enrollment (its not a weekly refresh on your tenant) .<\/li><\/ol>

    The only exception to this refresh cycle for the\u00a0Discovered apps<\/strong>\u00a0report is application information collected through the Intune Management Extension for Win32 Apps, which is collected every 24 hours.<\/p><\/blockquote>

    How to collect Software Inventory report in Intune.<\/h4>

    \u00a0<\/p>

    To get the discovered app details, Login to the Intune console then select, Apps > Monitor > Discovered Apps.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

    Discovered apps will provide you to the below details.<\/p>

    1. Application Name.<\/li>
    2. Application Version.<\/li>
    3. Platform name.<\/li>
    4. Device count.<\/li>
    5. Application Publishers.<\/li><\/ol>

      Login to Intune Console then select the Apps and then click on Monitor.\u00a0<\/p>

      Now click on Discovered Apps and your will all discovered app in your tenant.<\/p>

      Click on any application to get the device name that application installed.<\/p>

      \"\"<\/p>

      Windows 10\/11 co-managed device will not collect the discovered apps data thought IME as per above schedule.<\/p>
